Struck is built so that there is almost nothing about you to keep. This page says exactly what is and is not collected. Last updated 26 September 2026.
What you write
The words you write never leave your device. They are held only in your browser’s memory while you are on the page, are never sent to us or to anyone else, and are not saved, logged or analysed. If you choose “Keep my words for my own keepsake”, the certificate, GIF and video are made inside your browser and the words still never leave it. The optional “one thing you’ll do differently” note is saved only in your browser, on your device, and you can clear it at any time.
What we do collect
- Anonymous counts of how the site is used: for example that someone began a ritual, chose the real flash, or downloaded a wallpaper. These never contain words or names.
- Three first-party cookies: a random visitor id, the price you were shown, and the link that brought you here. They identify a browser, not a person, and last a year.
- For a real-flash ritual: the flash paired with it, the time you released it, and the order record. Your email is used once by Stripe to send your receipt and by us to send your private link. We do not store it.
Who else is involved
- Stripe processes payments. We never see your card details.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and checks that checkout requests come from a person.
- Neon stores the small database described above.
- Resend delivers the link email.
No advertising, tracking or session-replay tools run on this site, and no third-party scripts load on the pages where you write.
Your choices
You can use the illustrated storm without buying anything or giving any details. You can ask us to delete the record of a purchase at any time by writing to beautifulcar711@gmail.com.
