What Struck is

Struck is a ritual: a way to mark a decision to leave something behind. No ritual can promise to change how you feel, and Struck is not a substitute for care. If what you’re carrying feels heavy, please reach out to someone you trust or a helpline.

What you buy

A real-flash ritual is a digital purchase: one lightning flash, recorded by NOAA’s GOES-19 satellite minutes earlier, paired with your ritual and never reused, plus the artwork, certificate, wallpapers and shareable files generated from that flash’s data. The location on your keepsake is the flash as estimated from orbit, to about 8 km. The artwork is generated; it is not a photograph of the bolt. A gift bundle is two of these: one for you and a link for someone else, who decides when to use it.

Refunds

If something goes wrong with a purchase, or the storm feed could not pair your ritual with a flash, write to beautifulcar711@gmail.com within 30 days and we will refund it in full. Refunds go back to the card you paid with.

Your keepsake

Your keepsake page stays online at its private link. The artwork and files are yours to keep and share as you like. Please don’t use the site to harm anyone or to break the law.

Lightning data comes from NOAA’s GOES-R Geostationary Lightning Mapper and is public domain. Struck is not affiliated with NOAA. See About the data.
